    Chocolate and Steel

    Chocolate and Steel is the creation of former clothing designer Christine Street. She is inspired by all things outdoor. After having a child she found herself spending a lot of time outdoors with him. Her designs usually reflect that. Birds, butterflies, rain (although we don’t see much in Los Angeles), flowers, grass, sky….

    The name Chocolate and Steel comes from a painting she saw at the MOMA a few years ago. She loved the name because it combines opposites…organic and industrial, soft and hard, sweet and bitter.
