I learned from my mother to work the pottery for 12 years. I make these pieces that in the daily life are used to store water, grains. In the past, they had to bring the water from the rain or the river these pots served like transportation means. Also they are used in the traditional food preparation, such as, churipo, broth made with head of cattle meat and vegetables of the region. Because the foods are fundamental part of the festivities and ceremonies, the pots and cantaros made in the community are also part of them, in such a way that special pieces are made, for the weddings, for the formalization of the compadrazgos, between others, same that are given to the special guests and important people.
