    Fernworks
    Raised in the rural, mountainous region of western North Carolina, Faryn Davis spent her childhood among cows, tobacco fields, and rivers. She wandered, played and most of all, collected plants, tadpoles, bugs, feathers and other wonders of the natural world and housed them in miniature boxes.

    Both her love of the natural world and the folk art traditions of Appalachia are evident in Faryn’s jewelry and art. For her focus on birds, she uses a variety of media and techniques: painting, jewelry and sculpture. She created necklaces for Nest. Her website is fernworks.org
