Jane Byabusha – Mwanza, Tanzania
My name is Jane Byabusha, I am 36 years old. I have lived in Mwanza, Tanzania since 2002. My home town is the place I still find all sort of support I need. In African traditions even distant family members are actually close family and in Mwanza they are many of my relatives. My people are peace-loving, hospitable and polite by nature. They are hospitable to everybody even total strangers, This observation has been made by many foreigners visiting our country.

I am a single lady, I live with 2 of my young sisters in my house. I spend quality time with my family on when I am not working. My family is a special one for me, because, is where I draw strength to keep doing what I do for me and for them.

I am seeking a Nest loan for many reasons. To mention a few Nest, loans is for women and I love the idea that Nest is working hard to see women prosper and I want to be a part of that. I believe if I an be able to get a loan from Nest and repay it, I will be one more women benefiting from Nest and by this I will be carrying forwards the dream of Nest. I learned my craft skills traditionally (African tradition) and took sometime to perfect it by working with women from other tradition from within and out of my country. I have been doing my craft work as business for 5 years now. My long term goals is to open up the biggest store in my city and a cultural center where I will be helping young craftsmen to learn more and offer then an opportunity to excel in this business. The Nest loan will speed up and ease my work by allowing me to grow as a business woman to pursue the dream in me. I will use it to increase cash flow that will help finance activities in my short and long term plans. I believe the loan will boost my financial ability to reach my goals.

I am women with a big vision. I saw women in my community in difficult situations but I was inspired by their spirit of courage to make it through. I believe, as a woman, I do have such strength to make it through now that I have a store of my own. I believe I can achieve my dream.
